At americangirl.com the dress closes on the left, but the ones on ebay that are authentic close on the right, and I kind of thought they did in some of the catalogues. Did they flip the pictures, or change the dress?
I know AG does flip pictures sometimes, because on the bed pages, Nellie's part is on the wrong side.
I am just curious, because I am thinking of getting it for my future Kit doll, and I want to know if there is a difference between old ones and new ones.
Also, do ALL Kits have body tags? I can't remember when they came out with her.
Thanks!

My daughter's Kit birthday dress which was purchased about 2 and a half years ago closes on Kit's left. The Kit which is 3 years old does have a body tag.

Mine is on the left as well, but there must be some pretty good knock offs out there if it's hard to tell! I think the bday dress is just adorable, but the buttons fell lose on mine the day after I got it. Mind you, this was a couple years ago so AG might have fixed up this problem since then, but I remember a couple other members having this same issue as well.
My Kit has a body tag and I just adore her... she's such a cute doll! Can't beat the easy to fix up hair either. Hope you get her soon!

The ones that close to the left are the real Kit ones!!! The ebay ones that close to the right are knock offs!!! But good knock offs!
